Fanseller is an online shop for officially licensed rock & metal merchandise — band shirts, hoodies, posters and collectibles from Iron Maiden to Metallica, plus a licensed kids range. We built the Shopify store from scratch: a 1,900+ product catalogue that’s fast to browse, sells in 30+ markets, and feels made for fans.
Challenge & Solution
Fanseller had a huge, growing range of officially licensed merch and no store that could do it justice — thousands of products across dozens of bands and licenses, customers in many countries, and the constant challenge of proving every item is the real, licensed thing (not a bootleg). They needed a shop that’s easy to browse by band, builds trust instantly, and sells internationally. We designed and developed a custom Shopify store built around how fans actually shop: by band, by genre and by product type, with licensing made visible and checkout made effortless — in German and English, across 30+ markets.

Process
We started with how music fans actually shop — they come for a band, not a category — and built the store’s structure around that: clear navigation by band and genre, a separate licensed kids section, and an editorial brand voice that sounds like a fan, not a catalogue. From there we developed the custom Shopify store, set up multi-currency and multi-language, wired in payments and shipping from Germany, and laid the groundwork for future features like the fan swap marketplace. Everything was built to let the team add new bands, licenses and products without a developer.
